Kelompok 3 – “Another Buddy From KCPSS“

Today we wake up at 5 am, we take a shower and eat our breakfast. After all done we went to Kuo Chuan school, at there we meet our buddies and play a game. We begin to recognize our buddy even more and getting more close so that we can talk nicely to each other. We also have art lesson for us and we do a painting. We create our own art to dry it and take it home. We have a break time, we buy some food and eat it with our buddies, we got to talk to them and play with them, the food is delicious and make us full. And then we also have excessive lesson, we play basketball, volleyball, football and more. Many of us sweat of tired but also fun to play.

After we go back from school the next place we visit is Junction 8. We arrived at Junction 8, a bustling shopping mall in Bishan, Singapore. The mall is conveniently located near Bishan MRT station, making it easily accessible. The atmosphere was lively with a mix of families, students, and office workers. Before heading to lunch, we took some time to explore the mall. Junction 8 offers a wide variety of stores, from fashion to electronics, and even a cinema. The layout is straightforward, and we found it easy because we have Ms. Natalie.

For lunch, we decided to try Junction Food, the mall’s food court. The food court had a vibrant ambiance with numerous stalls offering a diverse range of cuisines, including local Singaporean dishes, Asian specialties, and international options. I opted for a plate of Hainanese chicken rice from one of the stalls, a classic Singaporean dish. The service was quick, and I was able to find a seat easily despite the lunchtime rush.

The Hainanese chicken rice was delicious. The chicken was tender and flavorful, complemented perfectly by the fragrant rice and savory dipping sauce. The portion size was generous, making it a satisfying meal. We left Junction 8 feeling content and satisfied with my visit. The mall offers a great variety of dining and shopping options, making it a perfect spot for a casual day out.

Kelompok 3 – “Learning Together in KCPSS“

Today we wake up at early at 04.30 am, we take a shower and eat our breakfast. Because we want to join morning assembly on KCPSS. The school field was buzzing with energy as students gathered for the day’s announcements. We sang the national anthem and listened to the principal’s speech about the importance of perseverance and teamwork. There was also a brief update on upcoming events and a reminder about the importance of maintaining discipline and respect in all our interactions.

Our first period was Mathematics with the teacher. We tackled complex algebraic equations and explored quadratic functions. The teacher introduced a new problem-solving strategy that involved visualizing equations with graphs. We practiced solving problems on the whiteboard, and the teacher was always there to provide encouragement and guidance. Next was Science with the teacher. We conducted an experiment on chemical reactions using baking soda and vinegar. The bubbling reaction was fascinating, and we learned about the different types of reactions and how they occur. The teacher encouraged us to think critically about the variables affecting the experiment and to record our observations meticulously.

At lunch, we headed to the canteen. The bustling atmosphere was filled with the chatter of students and the enticing smell of various dishes. I opted for the chicken noodles and chatted with friends about our favorite moments of the day. We also discussed our upcoming trip to the Singapore Discovery Centre, which everyone was excited about.

After lunch, we took a trip to the Singapore Discovery Centre. The visit was both educational and entertaining. We explored interactive exhibits about Singapore’s history and innovations, participated in a 4D simulator experience, and learned about the country’s defense and future planning. The centre’s hands-on exhibits and engaging displays made learning about Singapore’s progress and achievements enjoyable and memorable. The day concluded with a visit to Marina Bay for the much-anticipated water show. As the sun set, the area transformed into a vibrant spectacle of light and water. The show featured a stunning blend of fountains, lasers, and music, creating a breathtaking experience. Watching the water dance and change colors in sync with the music was mesmerizing, and it was a fantastic way to end an eventful day.

Kelompok 3 – “See You Later”

Today was an incredibly memorable day filled with patriotic spirit, heartwarming farewells, and exciting adventures. Here’s a recount of the day’s events :

Our day began with the much-anticipated Independence Day parade, and what a spectacular sight it was! The whole school gathered to witness the vibrant display of national pride. The parade featured various contingents showcasing Singapore’s rich history and diverse culture. From the rhythmic drum beats of the military bands to the colorful traditional costumes of the cultural performances, the atmosphere was electric. The students were buzzing with excitement as we cheered on the performers and marveled at the elaborate floats and displays.

After the parade, we headed over to the sports hall for a special performance. The space was transformed into a stage for a series of captivating acts. There were musical performances, dance routines, and even a few dramatic skits that celebrated Singapore’s journey to independence. The talent on display was truly impressive, and it was a wonderful way to honor the day’s significance.

As the afternoon approached, we shifted gears for a heartfelt farewell party. It was an emotional event as we bid goodbye to all our buddies who were heading off on new adventures. The party was filled with laughter, tears, and lots of shared memories. We had a chance to express our gratitude and appreciation for the time spent together. The highlight was a slideshow of our favorite moments and a few heartfelt speeches that brought a tear to everyone’s eye.

Post-farewell, we made our way to the Science Center. The exhibits there were both fascinating and educational, showcasing cutting-edge technology and interactive art installations. We explored various sections, including robotics, virtual reality, and environmental science. The hands-on exhibits allowed us to engage with the latest technological innovations and appreciate the intersection of science and art.

Our final stop of the day was Bugis. We enjoyed some retail therapy, browsing through shops and picking up souvenirs. The vibrant streets of Bugis were alive with energy, and we couldn’t resist grabbing some delicious chocolates to take home. The bustling market atmosphere was a great end to a day filled with excitement and exploration.

Kelompok 3 – “Singapore-Indonesia”

Our final day in Singapore turned out to be the perfect way to wrap up our trip. We started off with a visit to Gardens by the Bay, and it was absolutely magical. As soon as we arrived, the iconic Supertrees greeted us with their towering presence. They look like something straight out of a science fiction movie, and they’re even more impressive up close. We walked along the OCBC Skyway, which gave us a stunning view of the city skyline and the surrounding gardens. The entire experience was surreal, as if we were walking through a futuristic rainforest.

Next up was the Cloud Forest. Entering that cooled dome was like stepping into another world. The indoor waterfall was mesmerizing, and the mist-covered walkways around it felt so refreshing. We wandered through the different levels, each showcasing unique flora and showcasing how technology and nature can coexist harmoniously. The cool, misty air was a welcome contrast to the tropical heat outside.

After a few hours of exploring Gardens by the Bay, we headed to Changi Airport. Despite being an airport, Changi is renowned for its amenities, and today was no exception. We had some time to relax and enjoy the airport’s features before our flight at 6 PM. The Jewel Changi, with its stunning Rain Vortex and lush indoor garden, was a highlight. It’s hard to believe that an airport can be such an enjoyable place to spend time.

We had a chance to grab a bite to eat and do a little last-minute shopping. As I sit here, reflecting on our incredible trip, I can’t help but feel a bit nostalgic. Singapore has been full of vibrant experiences, from its stunning architecture to its lush green spaces. It’s been an unforgettable journey, and I’m grateful for all the wonderful moments we’ve had.

Now, it’s time to board our flight and head home. I’ll cherish the memories from this trip and look forward to future adventures. Until then, Singapore, thank you for an amazing stay.
